Congratulations to Andres Reinosa, Second Grade Dual Language Teacher at Carrboro Elementary School, today’s CHCCS CHAMPion! Andres was nominated by CHCCS parent Sara Garcia, who said “Excelente maestro.” Dual Language Coordinator Gina Bachelor added, “The level of mutual respect between him and his students is exceptional. The environment he creates allows for every student to learn. He is able to bring abstract concepts into concrete examples, and his students use content-specific Spanish so well that it’s hard to identify the native speakers from the non-native speakers.”
