Hello Ephesus families! Here are your updates for the week of October 7th.
Donation drive for Lansing NC organized by Daniel Sartain - Many small businesses are participating in an effort spearheaded by Fitch Lumber. This particular effort will focus on two items people are in need of: Coats and First Aid kits. This collaboration includes Fitch Lumber, The Metal Shop, my businesses, and many local volunteers. They are driving goods directly to Ashe County and distributing them daily. The items will be gathered by Monday, October 7 - please drop off in the donation box in the Atrium. We are looking for coats of all sizes, (it's getting cold up there), and first aid supplies. Much of this area is only accessible by horseback at this time, but volunteers are working tirelessly to help.
Fund it FAST! Tomorrow is the kick off for Fund It Fast - the Ephesus PTA's fundraising campaign. It is simple - families donate money and the PTA puts that money back into the school and school community in all sorts of ways. Donate via Paypal using the link in my principal email or by sending a check or cash in an envelope with your child. There is a "PTA Box" for donations in the front office. We need your support to reach the goal of $35,000! No donation is too small! Be on the lookout for more information and some fun activities in your student's take home folder tomorrow. Donate (paypal.com)
