CHS 1:1 Chromebook Permission Form

In order to ensure that all students receive their assigned device during the first few days of school, the parent/student form (linked in step 2 below) must be signed so that Chromebooks can be distributed during the first day or two of school.

As stated in the 1:1 Handbook and website, ALL high school students are REQUIRED to use a district-issued Chromebook because personal devices will no longer be allowed to connect to our district’s guest or internal network in order to ensure the highest level of security, bandwidth speed and student safety while your children are at school.

Please complete the following two steps as soon as possible:

Step 1 - Review the 1:1 Student Chromebook Program Handbook For Secondary Schools with your child.  This handbook provides information and expectations regarding our program and device care at home and school.  Please see the attached handbook translated in multiple languages.

Step 2 - Review and sign the online 1:1 Student Chromebook Program Parent and Student form with your child.  Please complete one form per child.

We understand that you may have questions about how our teachers and staff plan to support your child’s use of the Chromebook or how you can best support your child’s digital access at home.  One-to-one program information, including parent resources, are available on our website: chccs.org/1to1. The site can be translated into any language by clicking the Translate button at the top right.

Thank you for all of your support, and have a wonderful day!
