    Nurturing the Whole Child

At the elementary level, arts experiences nurture the whole child and help students develop cognitively, physically, and socially and emotionally. Developmentally appropriate activities help children develop fine and gross motor skills. Students explore a wide variety of experiences, learn about their own interests, make connections to other subject areas, and develop unique talents.

    Showcasing Student Work

There are many opportunities to celebrate and showcase student work. All of our elementary schools provide performance opportunities and regularly display student artwork. In addition, we have performances and exhibits in our local community, and all schools participate in the district-wide Visions Art Show each year.
