CHCCS High School Graduation Schedule:
- Friday, June 12:
- 6 p.m.: Phoenix Academy High School (ceremony at PAHS)
- Saturday, June 13 (ceremonies at Dean E. Smith Center, 300 Skipper Bowles Road):
- 9 a.m.: Carrboro High School
- 12:30 p.m.: East Chapel Hill High School
- 4 p.m.: Chapel Hill High School
🎓 Important graduation details
📱 Livestream: All CHCCS high school graduation ceremonies, June 12-13, will be livestreamed on the CHCCS YouTube channel. The ceremonies will also be recorded and posted to the YouTube channel for later viewing.

🚘 Parking, bags, other policies: If you're going to the graduation ceremonies at the Dean Smith Center (300 Skipper Bowles Drive):
- Please plan to arrive early and anticipate heavy vehicle traffic.
- Parking is free of charge. Public parking near the Smith Center is available in the Manning Lot, Bowles Lot and Craige Deck (via the Blythe Drive back side entrance.) Accessibility parking with shuttle service is available at the Williamson Lot. Use this link to find the lots on a map.
- Graduates should anticipate a brief security screening which will move quickly if gowns are left open/unzipped as you enter the Dean Smith Center.
- Clear bags are preferred in order to reduce your screening time at the doors. All bags are subject to search.
- The Dean Smith Center prohibits noise makers, confetti, balloons, wrapped gifts, firearms and alcoholic beverages. If you are carrying any of these items, you will be asked to leave them outside.
- Cameras, bouquets of flowers, appropriate signs, unopened food and drink are welcome.
- Limited concessions will be sold at the Dean Smith Center.
- All CHCCS staff should have their district issued ID so security will be able to verify that they are employees and are able to access restricted areas.
🗣️ Interpretation services: Spanish interpretation will be provided during all of our graduation ceremonies.
- ASL interpretation is available at Carrboro High’s ceremony.
- Chinese interpretation is available at both Chapel Hill High’s and East Chapel Hill High’s ceremonies.
- Interpretation devices will be available near the main entrance - please look for one of our interpreters.
