An Equity Coach is a member of a school staff who provides support and engagement around issues of equity for staff and students at their school. Equity Coaches are supported by district-level Equity Specialists who provide training grounded in educational equity research, school-based professional learning, and individual support. CHCCS is committed to building community and capacity within and between schools for individuals to engage in seeing, understanding, and interrupting inequitable systems and practices within education.
