Public Records Requests
Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools maintains and makes available for review public records in accordance with North Carolina law. Records containing confidential student and employee information are protected by law and, as such, may not be available for public inspection.
To request a public record, please email CHCCS Communications at communications@chccs.k12.nc.us. You may also call (919) 967-8211 x28227 and make your request by phone.
You will receive a response from the Chief Communications Officer or a member of the Communications team.
Note: This process is used to request public records. If you are a current or former student who needs to request your student records (e.g. transcripts), please visit this page instead.
