As a courtesy, Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools provides a publicly accessible Wi-Fi network (CHCCS-Public) for site visitors. This network is not intended for district-issued staff or student devices, which have restrictions in place.

We recognize the importance of personal mobile devices for staying connected. As part of our ongoing network optimization, we have retired the dedicated "myCHCCSConnect" network and upgraded CHCCS-Public to better support personal staff and student devices. Connecting no longer requires downloading profiles or certificates—users simply need to acknowledge the district’s Acceptable Use Policy upon connecting.
