Your Child's Learning Experiences

  •

Students collaboratively studying text Classroom teachers utilize evidence-based materials and practices to teach core subject areas (reading, writing, math, science, social studies) with the support of our Gifted Education Specialists. To create an optimal learning environment, teachers use high-quality learning opportunities including universal screenings, formative and summative assessments, and standardized progress monitoring to document mastery of curriculum standards. The general education teacher is the primary source of differentiation with support from the Gifted Education Specialists.

In CHCCS, we aspire to integrate and connect AIG services with the total instructional program. We intentionally align AIG services with our areas of identification (math and reading). Collaboration within the total school community is essential for detecting the need for advanced learning opportunities.
