Infinite Campus
New for 2025-26: What is Infinite Campus/NCSIS?
Infinite Campus/NCSIS (North Carolina Student Information System) provides CHCCS families with real-time access to important student information, including attendance, grades, schedules, bus route information and more. Through Campus Parent and Campus Students:
-
Students can stay organized and on track with their coursework.
- Families stay engaged in their child’s progress and families with more than one student enrolled in CHCCS can view all of their students’ information with a single login.
- Teachers can easily share updates from their gradebook and attendance records to help strengthen the home-school connection.
- Note: As of August 11, you should only see the names of your student(s). You will not yet see teacher assignments, student schedules and bus stop information. Those are traditionally finalized and shared later in August, often in the final week before school starts.
Ongoing: How do families get started?
Create a Campus Parent Account
Parents/guardians of enrolled students will begin receiving an email from Infinite Campus starting the week of August 11 at the email address we have on file, with instructions for creating a Campus Parent account.
What if I don't receive the email to set up my account? Don't worry, there are several options:
- First, check your spam folder.
- Contact ncsis-transition@chccs.k12.nc.us where a CHCCS team will be on standby to assist during regular business hours.
- Reach out to your school’s data manager.
- Visit portalaccess.ncsis.gov and follow the prompts to receive your parent portal activation code. You will need to know the student ID number, which is most commonly found on progress reports/report cards from last year. (Additional self-setup instructions here.)
