NEW FOR 2025-26: Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools will begin using the Infinite Campus student information system in July 2025. This means all new students in grades K-12 will complete the 2025-26 registration and enrollment process in the Infinite Campus system in July.

General information about student registration/enrollment:

• The Office of Student Assignment and Enrollment is responsible for new student registration, address changes, transfers and school assignment for new and continuing students.
• You may complete the online registration process in advance or at Lincoln Center, located at 750 S. Merritt Mill Rd. in Chapel Hill. Lincoln Center is served by the CM bus route.
• Only parents or legal guardians may register students. Legal guardians must present court-ordered custody or guardianship documentation. Notarized statements and powers of attorney are not acceptable.
• The District Registrar may assist you with the application process at the district's central office, but you do not need to come in-person to complete a registration. Students do not need to accompany their parents to be enrolled.
• The deadline for the 2025-2026 magnet lottery programs application period was April 15, 2025. Students can apply for open seats or to be waitlisted after the lottery has been completed. We anticipate opening the application again in late May or June.
