School Supplies
6th grade families- this year, due to a generous grant/donation, we will be purchasing all of the supplies your child needs, including headphones and a water bottle. Please plan to only purchase a backpack and lunchbox.
Each student will continue to be supplied with a Chromebook and charger for their use during the school year. These will be issued during Advisory the first week of school.
Fall Athletics
We will be holding an informational meeting about Phillips athletics for parents and students on August 24th from 6pm to 6:45 in the auditorium (this is at the end of our Back to School Bash). This is an opportunity for parents and students to learn about our sports programs, requirements and registration. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have about joining a sport.
PTSA
Welcome to the 2022-23 school year! The Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) Board looks forward to getting to know you and your family this year as we work together to support the students and staff at Guy B. Phillips Middle School. In the coming days you will start receiving the Falcon Flash, our PTSA newsletter, filled with information about school events and ways that you can get involved. In the meantime, please consider taking on a volunteer role with the PTSA this year. One very important position that still needs to be filled is that of our PTSA treasurer. Among other duties, the treasurer ensures that appropriate financial records are kept, a budget is established and followed, and controls are in place to ensure funds are used appropriately.Training is provided! There are also a variety of other open positions, some big, some small. Please take a look at our sign up genius or contact Kristie Thompson (kkweisner@gmail.com) for more information. Thank you!
