Credit for Demonstrated Mastery

  • The information provided below is based upon our current status and the prospect of returning to school under a Plan B model. CHCCS will provide the most up-to-date information on this website regarding the Credit by Demonstrated Mastery (CDM) process (Updated December 1, 2020).

     

    The testing window established by the state is February 15 – March 12, 2021. Please note that ALL Phase 1 assessments MUST be administered in a face to face environment at each student's school. There is NO exception to this per state guidelines. Each school will develop a testing plan utilizing all of the safety protocols and will provide communication to families regarding testing dates and times.  This document provides details of the Phase 1 and Phase 2 assessments.

    CDM Application Window

    • Each school will send out the application to all families the week of January 4th. Please make sure all of your email information is correct in PowerSchool. The apllication will also be linked on each school website. 

    • List of courses eligible for CDM 

     

    CDM Eligibility Review Period

    School counselors will review applications to determine eligibility of all students who applied. Students NOT eligible will be notified by their school counselor. Every student who registers for more than one CDM assessment should schedule an appointment with their counselor

     

    Phase 1 Assessment Window: 

    Dates:

    * State Testing Window- February 15-March 12th 

    * Each school will inform students of specific testing dates and times.

    * Testing will be scheduled by each school. Please contact the school for all testing questions.

    * Families will receive scores via email by (TBD).
