My name is Stacie Boyer and I am the proud principal here at Ephesus Elementary. Prior to being the principal, I served as the assistant principal at Ephesus and instructional coach at Smith Middle School. Before leaving the classroom to pursue leadership opportunities, I taught middle school math for nine years. I believe that EVERY child can be successful and it takes strong partnerships with the community, teachers and families to make it happen. Ephesus continues to demonstrate how teams can partner together to engage students and provide them the support they need. I am a graduate of UNC Wilmington and UNC Chapel Hill and love living in Durham. My husband and three children cheer on the Carolina Panthers and University of Virginia - go 'Hoos!

My name is Candace Spinks, and I look forward to serving as the Assistant Principal at Ephesus Elementary. My previous experience was serving as an elementary and secondary physical education teacher and a district facilitator. I graduated from Winston-Salem State University with a B.S in Physical Education. I received my Master's in Educational Leadership and School Administration from Garder-Webb University. I am currently pursuing my doctorate in Educational Leadership at Gardner-Webb University.  I believe every student can learn; it is a matter of providing students with the right tools to be successful. I am looking forward to a great year.
