What do we Believe?

We believe that students and families need to feel welcomed and wanted in our library space. We believe that students grow and thrive as readers when they have opportunities to self-select their reading material for pleasure and learning.  We believe that all students have the right to see themselves, their families and their communities represented in our library collection.  We believe that all students can become confident and ethical users and creators of information.  We believe students benefit from strong collaboration between the library and the classroom.

What is our Mission?

The mission of the Morris Grove Library is to help our students grow and thrive as readers and learners. We will implement policies and routines that enable equitable access to library materials, both physical and virtual. We will provide a collection in a variety of formats that meets the recreational and learning needs of our community.  We will work collaboratively with school colleagues to design innovative, engaging activities that support and enhance classroom goals.
