    Welcome to Seawell's English Language Learners (ELL) webpage!  We are excited to begin the 2018-19 school year with so many new students from countries all around the world.  At Seawell, more than 20% of the students are in the ELL program, with an even greater percentage of the student body speaking a language other than English in their homes.  We are very fortunate to have such diversity in our school!

The students all call me Ms. Mary. This year I am working primarily with 2nd and 5th grades. I pull my newcomers and level 2-3 out to my room for services, but I go into classrooms to help differentiate content and assist higher level students so that they can access the core curriculum and be successful.
