• School Improvement Team (SIT)
    School Improvement Teams (SITs) are a state-mandated component of our school composed of Glenwood staff and parents. The purpose of a School Improvement Team (SIT) is to “develop a school improvement plan to strengthen student performance.” SITs may deal with issues directly or indirectly related to instruction, student performance, and the school environment/improvement. G.S. 115C-105.27
     
    CHCCS board policy outlines the "School Improvement Team Operational Framework" through Regulation Code 3430-R.  SIT meetings are open meetings and we encourage parents/guardians to attend.     Glenwood School Improvement Team

    The Glenwood Elementary School Improvement Team (SIT) is elected to serve as the decision-making body for the school composed of parents and staff members. Meetings are open to the public and all are encouraged to attend. Minutes are posted online following each meeting.
