  • Effective March 13, 2020, due to current community health issues, CHCCS offices and schools are closed to all visitors.  No transcripts can be processed until the district reopens.  Thank you for your patience.

    Transcript & Student Records Request

    The Chapel Hill-Carrboro City School District is now offering a secure and convenient way to request and receive student records.

    Student Records consist of: transcript, immunization record, verification of name, verification of birth.

    Please note that students who attend one of our high schools will have their records maintained in that school until 2 years after their expected graduation date. After two years, the records will be sent to Central Office.

    Ways Transcripts can be requested:

    • Walk-in -need ID verified - not available at this time - see note above.
    • Online Request- not available at this time - see note above.

    Ways to pay:

    • Cash (must be correct change).
    • Credit cards
    • Check or Money Order-addressed to “CHCCS Student Records.”

    Costs for students:

    $7 per copy and a 1 time processing fee of $3 (1 copy will be $10).

    Costs for businesses or Universities:

    $20 per copy and a 1 time processing fee of $3 (1 copy will be $23).
