All construction activities will comply with the town’s noise-ordinance requirements.

Per Town and State regulations, the project cannot increase stormwater runoff leaving the site. We are required to maintain runoff levels at or below the current (pre‑development) condition. If any impervious area or flow increases occur, we will use bio‑retention areas and other stormwater control measures to reduce runoff to below pre‑development levels. The existing school does not currently have any stormwater control measures installed. To prevent additional water from reaching neighboring properties, the new design will include storm drainage systems and ditches that direct water away from homes to be retained on site. For the rear fire lane, we can route water through a ditch or storm system toward the greenway at the low point of the site. During construction, these same standards apply. We must ensure no sediment leaves the site, and erosion‑control measures such as silt fencing and temporary ditches will be installed to manage stormwater and protect adjacent properties.

The new design will have perimeter fencing (around the new playgrounds area at the rear) which will address safety and access concerns. The construction team will be intentional about the phasing of this process to ensure minimal disruption.
