  • Grocery Cards

Happy Thanksgiving to all Carrboro High School Families. As you are giving thanks this week for all your blessings, if having plenty to eat is one of your blessings, please listen to what you can do for our Jaguar community. Not everyone at Carrboro can give thanks for food on their table. Our school social worker, April Crider, works hard to help keep food on everyone’s table, but she has already used up her grocery card inventory that she has to help those in need. You can make it possible that ALL can give thanks for going to bed with a full stomach this season. Last year our families raised $800 in grocery cards to distribute for the winter holidays and remainder of the school year. Go to www.tinyurl.com/CHSGrocery and order a $25 gift card (or more) for Ms. Crider to give out this season. The PTSA will contact you to coordinate payment and deliver them directly to Ms Crider with your name and donation amount. Please order this week so that they can be distributed before the winter holidays. Many thanks for helping all of our students go home to a meal on the table.
