Current PreK students received a document in January to specify if they want to return to a CHCCS PreK classroom. 

If you did not receive this form or if you did not return this form and wish to continue in CHCCS PreK, please call the office. 

 

We are still accepting Pre-K/Head Start applications for the 2024-2025 school year to fill any remaining seats as they become available!

CHCCS Pre-K is open to children ages 3-5 by August 31, 2024, and not yet eligible for Kindergarten, who live in the Chapel Hill Carrboro City School district. We have one application for all of our program options. Our enrollment team will support your family in determining the best option available. 

Completed applications and required documents (listed on pg. 2 of the application) should be emailed to prekapplications@chccs.k12.nc.us. 

 

The Pre-K/Head Start applications for the 2025-2026 school year is now open.

The application for the 2025-26 is online. You must upload the required documents in order to have a completed application; partial applications will not be processed.   

Required documents: 1. Proof of student age 2. Parent identification 3. Proof of residency 4. Health Assessment & Immunizations & 5. Proof of income
