Definition of CTE Pathways:
A CTE pathway is an organized sequence of CTE courses or activities designed to develop the knowledge and skills necessary for success in a particular industry or occupation. These career pathways typically start in high school by taking Career & Technical Education courses but can reach further education.
They typically involve taking classes related to one's chosen profession, such as:
- Trade and Industry
- Health Science
- Agricultural
- Computer Science, IT and Technology
- Family and Consumer Sciences
- Business, Finance & Marketing
- Manufacturing
- Engineering
