Planned Redistricting Review & Process, 2021-22

  • Although the district's long-term projections over the next five years anticipate minimal growth in student membership, enrollment is at or above recommended levels in certain schools. Overcrowding, program options, and recent legislation reducing K-3 class size, combined with the need to balance academic performance, socioeconomic indicators, and demographics require a plan to reassign students for the 2021-22 school year.

A proposed timeline with key dates for the process will be presented to the Board of Education at its July 18, 2019 meeting. The timeline is presented for informational purposes only; no action will be taken.
