Credit for Demonstrated Mastery

  • The Credit by Demonstrated Mastery (CDM) process is closed and will open in January of 2023.  The testing dates and application window dates are updated below for the 2022-23 school year.

    CDM Application Window: Monday, January 2nd- Sunday, January 15th, 2023


    • Schools will send out the application via weekly communications. 

     

    CDM Phase 1 Testing Window: February 15- February 28, 2023

     


    • Schools will determine the schedule and administer all tests.

    CDM Phase 2 Testing Window: March 2023 (dates TBD)

    CHCCS Middle School CDM Choices The purpose of this document is to assist families and schools in understanding eligibility for accessing the Credit by Demonstrated Mastery (CDM) process. The only courses eligible in this process are high school courses which must be completed in the appropriate sequence. For example, a student must be enrolled in Math 1 before applying to CDM Math 2.  Additionally, middle school students may not apply to CDM any high school course, other than a math or world language course, until their 8th grade year.
