    There are many ways that the CHCCS district works to prevent and mitigate crisises on and off district campuses.

    Emotional Safety

    Campus safety and security efforts are frequently focused on the tangible: physical location and safety of students and staff. However, the intangible (mental wellness and emotional safety) of those on our campuses is also critical to a successful school experience. Through the efforts listed below and more, CHCCS works to create a safe emotional environment for students.
