    March is National Nutrition Month, and this year that means a focus on Plant Power. The highlighted, signature new recipe is Bean-Lovin' Shepherd's Pie which was sampled at Ephesus Elementary School on Friday, February 6.

    Ephesus Elementary School and East Chapel Hill High School have been decorating their doors as a vivid and informative celebration of Black History Month. The school-wide projects spotlight contributions from famous African Americans through creative and varied “door art.”

  • Ephesus Elementary Celebrates Black History Month through Music

    Ephesus Elementary School has built four weeks of commemorating Black History Month with a focus on the song “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” One of the highlights was a full day of activities with author Kelly Starling Lyons, whose picture book “Sing a Song” tells the history of the famous African American composition.
