About Us

The Smith Middle School Counseling Department consists of 3 school counselors: 6th grade, 7th grade, and 8th grade. Each School Counselor loops with their students beginning in 6th grade and follows them through to 8th grade.

Our Smith Counselors:

Abide by the ethical standards of the American School Counselor Association

Are contributing members of the CHCCS Middle School Counseling Professional Learning Community (PLC)

Participate in professional development and continuing education activities essential to maintaining a quality school counseling program

How to schedule an appointment with your counselor:

Students - stop by the Student Services office during school, ask your teacher for a pass, or email your counselor

Parents - call or email your student's counselor or the student services secretary
