CHCCS Local Wellness Policy - Information about wellness policies in the CHCCS district.
Homebound Instruction - This program provides instructional services for students confined for four weeks or longer at home due to a medical or psychological treatment.
CHCCS Youth Risk Behavior Surveys - These Centers for Disease Control (CDC)-designed surveys are administered to Chapel HillāCarrboro City Schools (CHCCS) students in odd years to monitor health risk behaviors that contribute to death, disability, and social problems among our nation’s youth.

Health & Immunization Requirements: Important Information for Parents
Students are required to have an immunization record on file to attend school in NC. Additionally a Health Assessment is needed on entry to NC public schools for the first time. Parents have 30 days from their child's first day of school to provide this information.

New Health Requirements in 2019-20 for Students in Kindergarten, 7th Grade and 12th Grade
Students need immunizations when entering Kindergarten, a Tdap and Meningitis immunization for 7th Graders. Beginning the year 2020, students entering the 12th grade or by 17 years of age, whichever comes first, will need another Meningitis booster dose.
