Why should I take a CTE class?

Are there clubs associated with CTE?
Yes, CTE offers clubs (student organizations) in the content areas. Please visit the following links:

I heard you can take CTE courses that will count as math credit - is that true?
Yes, a few of our CTE courses count as a math credit. See the NC Math Chart for more info.

Is CDM possible in CTE?
Yes, CTE offers the opportunity to earn credit when a student proves mastery of the content. Remember, CDM credits can NOT receive any course weight (no honors or AP weight).
