Smith Middle Update

  • The Board of Education voted to re-open Smith Middle to students domiciled in the Smith attendance zone for the 2021-22 school year.

    At its March 4, 2021 meeting, the Board approved a plan to re-open Smith Middle School to students domiciled in the Smith attendance zone. Students zoned to Smith and previously reassigned to other middle schools may request to attend Smith before April 15.

    Middle school enrollment will be monitored carefully; if any middle school reaches 107% capacity, new students will be assigned to another middle school based on available space and high school assignment. Transportation will be provided.
