How to respond to phishing emails
When a phishing message is identified, a trusted authority at the school site should send a screenshot to the school group reminding users not to click on any of the links and not to respond to the messages. In addition users should report the message as spam through the gmail web portal. This will notify Google and our Google administration team for further review and action. Any users who have clicked the links should change their passwords. To add increased security for the account, you can setup 2-factor authentication. Anyone who has downloaded attachments should have their device checked for virus and malware by our IT customer support team by creating a service ticket.
