Welcome to CHCCS Secondary Program

      Our secondary team works to empower, inspire, and engage our middle school and high school students as we prepare them for life beyond graduation. Our middle schools serve as the bridge to assist students as they make the academic and social transition between elementary school and high school. Our high schools serve as the bridge to assist students in considering various career pathways and options for post-secondary education. 

      The secondary team strives to ensure that EVERY student is provided excellent and equitable learning experiences that prepare them for productive and meaningful lives. Our goals include: 

      • Ensuring all environments are safe and conducive for maximum learning 
      • Aligning all curriculum to local and state standards 
      • Serving as the liaison between the NC Department of Instruction, the district and the schools
      • Enhancing the instructional capacity of all instructional staff
